Matteo Goffriller(1659-1742) Goffriller was a great Italian luthier who worked out of Venice, Italy from 1685 onward. Goffriller founded the Venetian School. His instruments are of great quality, and are sought after by collectors, and musicians. Notable musicians who owned/own a Goffriller are:
